Congratulations to Julia D. for winning Larimer County's inaugural I Voted Sticker Design contest. Julia is a senior (Grade 12) at Loveland Classical Schools. What is Ranked Voting?

Ranked Voting is a system in which voters rank candidates in order of preference. If no candidate receives a majority of first-choice votes, then the candidate with the fewest first-choice votes is eliminated, and those ballots' second-choice votes are tallied. This process is repeated until one candidate receives a majority of the votes.

Why practice Ranked Voting?

In the November 8, 2022 General Election, voters in the City of Fort Collins determined that the offices of Mayor and of each District Councilmember will be elected through ranked voting.
