Learn how your county works, apply for LC101 now
After a two-year pause, it’s back.
Larimer County 101 is our free, eight-week class introducing our community to the wide variety of services that Larimer County government provides every day from the people who provide those services.
LC101 class members get an inside look at how Larimer County provides community services and interact with staff and elected officials. The class meets on Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., May 12 through June 30 at various locations in Fort Collins and Loveland.
LC101 is an interactive experience --- members also tour county facilities like the Larimer County Landfill, Community Justice Alternatives, Alternative Sentencing, and The Ranch at the Larimer County Fairgrounds. Participants learn about the county budget, elections, land-use, building roads and bridges, human services, public health, economic development, property taxes, the District Attorney’s Office, Coroner, and much more.
Register soon, class size is limited. Visit the LC101 webpage to apply. Registration is now open and closes on April 15.
