The Improvement District Advisory Boards assist and make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on the affairs of the district. Such tasks may include identifying improvements to be made in the district, developing an annual budget for expenditure of district funds, and retaining contractors to carry out district projects. In some instances, the Advisory Board may be asked to implement resolutions and policy directives of the Board of County Commissioners.
