Meet the Larimer County Manager final applicants
A public event to introduce community members and Larimer County employees to the final applicants selected for the position of Larimer County Manager is scheduled for June 24.
The Larimer County Manager Finalist Public event begins at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the first-floor hearing room, Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building.
- 4 – 6 p.m., Finalist Individual Presentations
- 6 – 6:30 p.m., Round-Robin Community Q&A
- 6:30 – 7 p.m., Community Meet-and-Greet
At the event, three opportunities will be given for community members to learn more about the next county manager and to provide input to decision-makers during the hiring process.
During the first opportunity, each finalist will introduce themselves to the community and speak on their philosophy for addressing complex community problems or controversial issues.
The second opportunity will consist of a Q&A session for each finalist in a round-robin format. Candidates will respond to vetted, randomly selected questions submitted by county employees and community members.
Community members may also submit questions to the finalists via an online submission form and preview the recruitment timeline at the 2022 County Manager Recruitment website.
The final opportunity consists of an informal, 30-minute ‘meet and greet’ for community members and county employees to interact informally with each finalist. Those in attendance may visit freely with each applicant positioned at a separate table.
Community members and county employees will have the opportunity to submit feedback via an online questionnaire following the public event. Those unable to attend will be able to watch the live broadcast of the event or a recording on the Larimer County YouTube Channel. Feedback from the public will be taken through June 27, 2022.
