In a world of artificial light, nighttime can seem mysterious, even dangerous! Together, we'll observe the stars and moon and use all our senses to explore the wonders of the night. As the light becomes soft and diffused from the sun dipping below the horizon, we'll discover the magic of nature during twilight. Taking a short hike along Kruger Rock Trail, we'll learn how our nocturnal neighbors adapt to utilize less light, how humans experience the dark, and why we find the twilight hours mysterious and fascinating. We will start and end at the pavilion across from the trail head.

Participants will meet at the picnic pavilion near Bobcat Campground. Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear layers, and bring a flashlight or headlamp.
