Record Books Are Awesome!

New to 4-H & record books? Start here! This video will explain why record books are so important and why they are required for every 4-H member to complete. In the tabs below we have additional information and videos with other tips and tricks.

Make Sure You Have The Right Book

Did you know that Colorado 4-H has 31 different projects with similarly-formatted record books? Each project page will have a link to the correct record books.

  • Most projects have additional, project-specific pages.
  • These additional pages are usually after page 3, but before photographs & story, however, this is not always the case
  • If you have additional questions about specific projects, please reach out to a county project leader or your 4-H Agent. They can provide you with specific requirements for your project's record book.
