No matter which option you choose, please bring photos of the area in question and/or samples if appropriate. There is no charge for this service.

Other options:

Sometimes, it's not possible to diagnose a problem just by photos or samples. That's where the Tree Team and lawnchecks come in.

Tree Team

Specially trained Master Gardeners are available for on-site visits to assess, troubleshoot and diagnose tree issues. There is a recommended $25 donation. If you think you need a tree team visit, please contact the CMGs at LarimerMG@gmail.com or call the Extension Office at 970-498-6000.  They will ask some questions to determine if the issue can be resolved without an onsite visit.

Lawncheck

A lawncheck provides an on-site assessment of your lawn with recommendations of how to address irrigation issues, weeds, disease, and cultural problems.

Current Fees (please contact us for the most up to date information):

  • Homeowners: $75
  • HOA Visits: $150

If you think you would benefit from a Lawncheck, please fill out this form here or contact us at 970-498-6000.  We will review your request and determine if an in-person visit is necessary or if a no-cost option is possible.

Presentations or Q&A Booth

Need a speaker for your club or organization?

Have an upcoming event and you'd like to have a Master Gardener present to answer questions?

Master Gardeners and Extension staff are available to present to your group. Fees vary. Contact Alison O’Connor for more information: AStoven@larimer.org
