Kadrich appointed Larimer County Assistant Manager
Larimer County Manager Lorenda Volker today announced the appointment of Laurie Kadrich as the Assistant County Manager. She fills the role previously held by Volker, who was appointed County Manager by the Board of County Commissioners earlier this year.
“We were fortunate to have such a large candidate pool of high-quality professionals eager to serve our community, making this a difficult decision,” said Larimer County Manager Lorenda Volker. “After a thorough selection process, I am pleased to appoint Laurie as Larimer County’s new Assistant Manager. I look forward to serving alongside her.”
Kadrich has served Larimer County as the Director of Community, Planning, Infrastructure, and Resources since 2019. She will transition into her new role over the next few weeks as she begins the process of filling her previous position.
“It is an honor and privilege to continue working for Larimer County. I have immensely enjoyed working with those in the service area that I currently lead and look forward to learning and leading in broader areas of the county,” said Kadrich.
Kadrich brings a wide range of experience from both municipal and county levels of government, including past service as the Community Development Director and Planning, Transportation, and Development Service Area Director for the City of Fort Collins, the City Manager of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Town Administrator of Gillette, Wyoming. Kadrich began her public service career in law enforcement as a police officer.
