4-H Activity Zone at the Larimer County Fair

Visit the Thomas M McKee 4-H, Youth and Community Building during the Larimer County Fair for free activities for children. Activities should take anywhere from 5 minutes - 30 minutes to complete. 

Activity Zone Schedule:

  • August 2nd:
    • Model Rocket: 4:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. Model Rockets
    • Global Citizenship: 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • August 3rd
    • Bead Lizards: 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
    • Scrapbooking: 12:45 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.
    • Electricity: 2:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
    • Engineering: 4:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
    • Sewing: 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
  • August 4th
    • Leather Bookmark: 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
    • Make an iron-on patch: 12:45 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.
    • Gardening: 2:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
    • Food Safety: 4:15 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
    • Visual Arts: 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
