Courtesy orange tag notices for manufactured homes

The Larimer County Treasurer & Public Trustee’s Office will be posting orange tag notices next week for manufactured homes with delinquent 2022 property taxes payable in 2023.

The tags are an additional courtesy reminder to pay by September 30, 2023 to avoid further statutory fees in October and possible tax lien sale in November.  Beginning October 31, all past-due taxes and fees must be paid by cash or certified funds only.

For your convenience, there are several ways to make your payment. Property taxes can be paid online by credit or debit card (for a fee) or electronic check (no fee). You may also mail payments to Larimer County Treasurer, P.O. Box 2336, Fort Collins, CO 80522. Payments can be dropped off in our secure 24-hour drop box at 200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins, or paid in person. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Taxpayers are also invited to sign up to receive an email for property tax payment reminders. Each year four emails will be sent and will include a notification that property tax statements were mailed, reminders for the February 28 and June 15 payment deadlines for those that pay in two installments, and a reminder of the April 30 payment deadline for those that make one full payment. To sign up, please visit larimer.gov, visit the Things to Do tab, and click Subscribe to Email Alerts.
