Training Services
Looking for additional skills or training to transition or advance your career? LCEWD may be able to help you take the next step in your education, training or career and help you learn a new skill, become licensed or earn an industry recognized degree or certification.
You may be eligible for training if one of the statements below apply to you.
- Due to COVID-19, you or your household experienced financial hardship or your education was interrupted.
- You have experienced a recent layoff and were eligible to receive Unemployment Insurance benefits.
- You are a veteran or eligible spouse of a veteran who are public assistance recipients or low-income individuals.
- You are receiving public assistance such as SNAP or TANF.
- Displaced homemaker;
- Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian;
- Individual with disabilities;
- Age 55 and older;
- Ex-offender;
- Substantial cultural barriers;
- Migrant Seasonal Farm Worker;
- Within 2 years of exhausting lifetime TANF eligibility;
- Single parent or single pregnant women
- long-term unemployed (27 or more consecutive weeks); and
- New American
These are basic eligibility requirements and there are other circumstances that may qualify you for training funds. If you are not sure, please apply.

- Scholarship funds distributed through this program cannot be used for reimbursement and only for future payments to the school for your certification or degree.
