Looking for additional skills or training to transition or advance your career? LCEWD may be able to help you take the next step in your education, training, or career and help you learn a new skill, become licensed, or earn an industry-recognized degree or certification.
Training Eligibility
You may be eligible for training if any ONE of the statements below applies to you.
- You are a veteran or eligible spouse of a veteran who is a public assistance recipient or low-income individual.
- You are an unemployed Larimer County resident who is a public assistance recipient or low-income individual (SNAP, TANF, LEAP, CCAP, Housing, Pell, SSI).
- Low-income Larimer County residents on public benefits OR who experienced economic impacts due to COVID OR are receiving Unemployment Insurance - AND, in any case, are interested in short-term training programs that are completed by May 31, 2025.
These are basic eligibility requirements, and there are other circumstances that may qualify you for training funds. If you are not sure, please apply.

- Additional information and documentation may be required to determine final program eligibility. A staff member will contact you regarding next steps if needed.

- Scholarship funds distributed through this program cannot be used for reimbursement and only for future payments to the school for your certification or degree.
