The name Longview was inspired by the local landscape and proximity to Long View Open Space and Long View trails. By definition, "long view" refers to an approach to a problem or situation that emphasizes long-range factors. The name is also a metaphor for mental health and recovery with an eye on the future. Situated on the corner of Taft Hill Road and W. Trilby Road, the 40-acre campus houses Acute Care which will provide crucial crisis services.
