Are building inspections still taking place?
Building inspectors will not perform in person inspections on any structure where a person is under self or medically ordered quarantine.
If you schedule an inspection of an occupied space, please request one using our on-line portal, and please make sure that no one in the building has been sick, no one is showing any coronavirus symptoms, minimize the number of people who will be present for the inspection, maintain social distancing and wear a mask.
Remote video inspections are also available. Please click on this link for more detailed information: Video Inspections. We can use Remote Video Inspections for occupied spaces.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. For questions or concerns related to building inspection requests, please contact Lead Building Inspector Mark Tewsley at tewslemd@co.larimer.co.us.
