When do I begin my Electronic Home Detention sentence?
Contact staff at (970) 980-2680 immediately upon sentencing. Leave your name, case number, number of days sentenced, and phone number. Staff will contact you to set up a date to have your ankle-monitor hooked up. You will need to bring identification and your court paperwork to your meeting at 2307 Midpoint Drive, Door #2, Fort Collins, CO.

Am I eligible to be in the Electronic Home Detention program?
You must be sentenced to Electronic Home Detention by the judge. Your current charge(s) and criminal history will be reviewed to determine your eligibility. You must reside in Larimer County.

How much does it cost?
The daily rate is $14.00 per day. A reduced fee is available with proper documentation. You will pay $13.00 for each urinalysis (UA) test.

What about urinalysis (UA) tests and breathalyzers (BA)?
You are required to submit random UA tests. UA tests are completed at the Day Reporting Center at either the Fort Collins location at 2255 Midpoint Drive, Fort Collins, CO or the Loveland location at 810 E. 10th Street, Loveland, CO. The Fort Collins location is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 am-6:45 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am-3:45pm. The Loveland location is open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30 am-4:15 pm. BA tests are given during home and/or job checks.

What if I cannot pay my Electronic Home Detention fees?
You will sign a payment agreement on the last day of your sentence. If you are unable to pay your fees after signing a payment agreement, you will be sent to a collection agency, BAS Receivable Management, Inc. The contact number is (970) 484-2101.
If you completed your Electronic Home Detention sentence after December 1, 2017 and owe a balance, you will need to contact Pay My Jailer at (866) 494-8556 to set up paying your fees.

When do home and/or job checks happen?
Staff will conduct home and job checks on a random basis.

Do I need a separate phone line to be on Electronic Home Detention?
No. You may request a cell unit as long as you have good cell phone reception at your home. If you do not have reliable cell phone coverage, you will be required to have a telephone with a private line and a phone cord that plugs into the wall.

What hours am I allowed to work?
You can work the shift or schedule that your employer may require from you. You will be required to provide pay stubs, employment schedules and other verifiable documentation of your employment.

What if I am unemployed, retired or disabled?
You may still participate in the Electronic Home Detention Program if you are unemployed, retired or disabled. You may be approved to search for work if you are unemployed.

Besides work, what other activities may I be allowed to go to?
You must provide staff with a weekly schedule to attend the following verifiable activities: school, treatment classes, court-ordered appointments, bank, medical appointments, legal appointments, grocery shopping and church.

How many hours can I be out in the community?
You are allowed out of your home for a maximum of 12 hours a day for approved activities (travel time included).
