Liquor licenses must be renewed annually. The Department of Revenue sends the annual renewal forms to the licensee approximately 90 days prior to the expiration date. This renewal form must be completed and returned to the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder office at least 45 days prior to expiration along with the required fees. Do not return renewal applications to the state. The renewal application must first be approved by the County Commissioners. Once approved, our office will forward the application to the state.

Please submit the renewal application and two checks - one payable to the Colorado Department of Revenue and one payable to Larimer County Clerk and Recorder. Please see the Fee Schedule for correct fees.  A $500.00 fee payable to Larimer County will be added to all renewal applications not received by the county by the expiration noted on the application.

Please mail to:

Larimer County Clerk Recorder
Attn: Liquor Licensing
PO Box 1280
Fort Collins, CO 80522

If you do not receive or you lose your renewal application, please print and complete Form DR 8400 and submit with payment as outlined above.
