SCOPE OF WORK

Widening approximately 0.5 mile of roadway (Horsetooth to Harmony). Improvements include:

• 4-lane roadway
• center turn lane
• right turn lanes at Horsetooth
• curb and gutter
• sidewalks and bicycle lanes
• storm sewer improvements
• intersection improvements at Harmony

PURPOSE

This project is planned due to:

• regional/local capacity improvements
• safety improvements
• air quality improvements

City of Fort Collins and Larimer County partnership project

BUDGET

$9,700,000

      Grant Funding for the Project:  
      $3,834,025 Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG)    
      $   250,000 Community Project Funding Grant (CPF)  

PROJECT STATUS

• design engineering consultant hired (Wilson & Co.) 
• final design is complete
• right-of-way acquisitions in progress
• construction expected to begin 2025

CDOT required clearances and approvals:

• environmental - complete
• right-of-way plans - complete
• utility relocations - complete
• overall design - complete
