Becky Staab, a certified yoga instructor and Mindful Outdoor Experience Guide, will lead you on a Mindful Summer Solstice Nature Walk at Hermit Park Open Space. In honor of the Summer Solstice you will be invited to slow down, awaken your senses and relax into the beauty of nature with practices such as meditation, mindful walking, gentle stretches and forest bathing. Mindful Outdoor Experiences offer serenity, stress reduction and opportunities to deepen our relationship to the natural world.

Participants will hike the Homestead Meadow trail approximately 3 miles. This hike will be moderate, traveling over natural surface trail, uneven surfaces, with about a 400' elevation gain. Most of the trail is partially shaded. Pit toilets/bathrooms are available near the trailhead. There is no potable water at the trailhead.

Participants will meet at the Homestead Meadows Trailhead. Best for participants 10 years and older. Program is free, registration is required.
