How to use SNAP/EBT & Double Up Bucks at the Market
Rachel (Larimer County Extension Staff) and Regan (a Master Gardener) staged this demonstration to show you how to use SNAP/EBT at the Larimer County Farmers' Market.
Using your SNAP/EBT benefits at the Farmers' Market is easy!
- Bring your EBT card to the Larimer County Extension Booth. You can find us under the large flag pole.
- We will swipe your card and give you coupons to use at the market. One dollar off your EBT card equals $1 in coupons.
- If you are buying produce, ask for "Double Up Bucks." We can match up to $20 in coupons. This means:
- $1 Coupon + $1 Double Up Bucks = $2 to spend
- $10 Coupon + $10 Double Up Bucks = $20 to spend
- $20 Coupon + $20 Double Up Bucks = $40 to spend
- Go shopping! Use your coupons on any eligible item at any vendor!
