How many people work in Fleet Services and what do they do?
Fleet Services consists of 19 employees:
- Eleven maintenance technicians.
- Two Parts Technicians
- One Ops & Parts Manager
- Two Shop Managers to support operations of our shop:
- Light Duty: units ranging from ATVs to F-550 trucks.
- Heavy Duty: Specializing in heavy equipment and diesel trucks
- Two Accounting Technicians
- One Fleet Asset Manager
- One Fleet Services Director
Together we perform comprehensive preventative maintenance and repairs over 1,100 pieces of equipment and vehicles. The heavy duty and light duty technicians plus the supervisors have 292 combined years of experience. Our staff manages twelve fueling sites that support our fleet throughout the county.
Who are Fleet Services customers?
The most important customers are Larimer County residents and the citizens who uses some of the internal services Larimer County offer. Fleet Services does this by providing the highest quality of services and making it a one stop shop. We keep our prices competitive with the private businesses. Larimer County will always have a need for vehicles and our job is to make sure we keep those vehicles running in a cost-effective manner.
