The HPL Collective supports households experiencing a loss of housing or housing instability who may need additional support to reconnect with housing opportunities.

How do I join HPL?
Joining HPL is as easy as connecting with our Landlord Liaison. We will support you through our simple onboarding process to list your units and begin receiving applications from HPL-supported households.

How do I receive the financial benefits of HPL?
We make our benefits as simple as possible. After completing an HPL partnership agreement, our staff will track any successful move-ins from the collective and arrange sign-on bonus payments after the lease is executed. For damage or vacancy loss claims, fill out the online claim form linked here.

Is registering for HPL the same as registering my rental property with the City of Fort Collins?
No. The City of Fort Collins Rental Registration program is a separative initiative required of all rental property owners within City of Fort Collins city limits. HPL is a voluntary incentive program for rental property owners within the entire county of Larimer.

Where does HPL operate?
HPL operates out of the Larimer County Administrative Building at 200 W. Oak in Fort Collins, CO. However, we support the entire county of Larimer and frequent all areas of Larimer County. If you want to meet with us, we’ll gladly travel to you!

Do fair housing laws allow property partners to partner with Housing Partners of Larimer?
Yes. In fact, property owners who partner with HPL affirm fair housing by removing barriers to housing for households experiencing homelessness and expand housing opportunities for members of protected classes. HPL asks our partners to offer alternate screening criteria consistently for our referrals due to the additional support our network provides, including increased financial security and tenant-support services.
