Human Services Complaints

At Larimer County, it is our top priority to meet the needs of those we serve. We work hard to provide excellent customer service, and your feedback is important to us.

If you have a concern or a complaint, try to resolve the issue with the staff member and their supervisor first. If that does not address the issue, we are happy to help with a formal complaint.

Complaints

You may have a general complaint related to your case, an interaction with a staff member, or an experience you have had with Human Services. To send a general complaint, please complete this form or contact the complaints coordinator at (970) 498-6311 or hs-info@co.larimer.co.us.

If your concern is child welfare related, the Child Protection Ombudsman of Colorado can also help. You can learn more about the Child Protection Ombudsman of Colorado on their website.

If you believe that you have been discriminated against because of your race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, creed, religion, political beliefs, disability, or public assistance status, you have the right to file a civil rights complaint. It is against the law for anyone who works for Human Services to retaliate against a person who files a complaint or who cooperates in the investigation of a civil rights complaint.
