Aimed at the future leaders of the Larimer County community, participants (ages 18-25) of the Larimer County Academy (LCA) will take an active "tour" of the County government and its services. The academy will consist of seven, hands-on, themed sessions. Themes range from "Public Safety" and "Crime", to "Community Services". Those elite applicants accepted into the Academy will be given the unique opportunity to tour County facilities like the jail and the landfill, participate in mock hearings, and engage in other county and community-related activities while closely interacting with their County Elected Officials and other county leaders.
