Larimer County Administrative Services, District Attorney, Courts, Landfill, and Ranch offices will be closed November 28 to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. On November 29, Larimer County Administrative Services, District Attorney, and Ranch offices remain closed. Courts will be open until noon that day and Landfill will be open.
Critical county services are not disrupted by closures.
Songbirds, foxes, and migratory water birds are among the assorted mix of animals that can be seen in this amazingly diverse habitat. This conservation easement however is not open to the public. It preserves a community separator between Loveland and Berthoud along with the protection of stunning viewsheds near Lonetree Reservoir State Wildlife Area. A trail easement and 50% of 3 shares of water is included in this acquisition.
When only the development rights of a property are purchased, as in the case of a conservation easement, any future development of that land is limited.The landowner continues to manage the property, and the land remains on the tax rolls. Land with a conservation easement is not generally open to the public because it is still in private ownership.
