FOUND: Senior alert: missing/endangered adult
UPDATE 4/6/23: We're glad to share that Grant has been found and is SAFE. He was contacted in the Winter Park area by local law enforcement. He was disoriented but had no apparent injuries. Grant will be assessed by medical and reunited with his family. Thanks to all who spread the word!
UPDATE: Grant was last seen using his credit card at the Phillips 66 gas station at 3500 S. Federal Blvd in Englewood around 6:00 this morning (4/6/23). Anyone with information about his current location is asked to contact law enforcement immediately.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help locating a missing/endangered adult.
Grant Steffen, 93, did not return to his Berthoud home after a planned outing on April 5, 2023. He left the Loveland library around 1:10 p.m. and was driving a 2007 light blue Toyota Matrix sedan (license plate 902PEU). His vehicle was last seen on Berthoud Parkway / County Road 14 at 1:27 p.m. His family reported his absence to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office when he did not return home as planned.
Grant was wearing a blue LL Bean jacket, dark green wool shirt, jeans, and brown shoes. He is a white male, 5’10 tall, 165 lbs, with gray hair and brown eyes, has some memory/cognitive impairment, and requires medication. He does not have a cell phone with him and family is concerned for his welfare.
A Senior Alert has been issued through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Photos are attached. Anyone with information about Grant’s location is asked to contact LCSO Investigator Danielle Zempel at 970-498-5177.
