On June 19^th, 2023, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to a private residence in Fort Collins, Colorado to investigate the death of a 46-year-old male. The decedent is identified as former NFL Player and Superbowl XL Winning Champion, Clark Haggans of Fort Collins, Colorado. 

An autopsy was performed on June 21^st, 2023, at the Larimer County Forensic Sciences Center by Forensic Pathologist Dr. Joe White, DO.

The results of the investigation concluded the following: 

Manner of Death: Natural 

Cause of Death: Complications of Chronic Ethanol Use
