Starting on Nov. 2, all Human Services Welcome Centers will open at 10 a.m. on Thursdays. All other weekdays they will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Welcome Centers are the lobbies of Human Services buildings where Larimer County residents can receive assistance in a safe and welcoming place. Every day, Welcome Center staff refer clients to resources and find solutions for families in need. To make it easy for our residents across the county, all of our department's services are available at each of the three Welcome Centers: 1501 Blue Spruce Dr. and 2555 Midpoint Dr. in Fort Collins and on the second floor of 200 Peridot Ave. in Loveland.

The delay in opening one morning a week will allow Welcome Center staff to designate time to training opportunities and community connections that will benefit residents when they need assistance. Thursday mornings were chosen because data shows this is the slowest time for the Welcome Centers and will cause the least disruption for our clients.
