The Board of Larimer County Commissioners today adopted the county's 2024-2028 Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan will address service gaps in our community in a wide variety of areas. The plan will be implemented by teams of County staff and members of the public over the five-year period through 2028. The goals of the plan include:

GOAL AREA 1 - Resilient, Equitable and Engaged Community
Design and offer programs that promote an equitable, engaged, and
resilient community through a commitment to transparency,
accountability, and outreach.

GOAL AREA 2 - Quality of Life
Encourage a vibrant community with opportunities that enhance the
health, wellbeing, & economic opportunities for all current and future
generations of community members

GOAL AREA 3 - Natural and Built Environment
Support the conservation, stewardship, and resiliency of our natural
and built environments while ensuring accessibility for people of all
abilities.

GOAL AREA 4 - County Operations
Position Larimer County to achieve community priorities by developing
future County leaders, focusing on efficiencies, innovation and security,
and supporting an inclusive environment for County staff
