On April 19, 2024, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to a section of Horsetooth Reservoir to investigate the death of a 20-year-old male. The decedent was located partially offshore away from his vehicle that was in the reservoir. For more information regarding the circumstances of the crash please refer your questions to the Colorado State Patrol.

The decedent is identified as Samuale Nega of Fort Collins, CO.

A full forensic autopsy was performed on April 22, 2024, at the Larimer County Forensic Sciences Center by Dr. Joe White, D.O.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypothermia due to Cold Exposure

**ACTUALIZACIóN** Muerte del Embalse Horsetooth – 19 de Abril de 2024

El 19 de Abril de 2024, la Oficina Forense del Condado de Larimer acudió a una sección del embalse Horsetooth para investigar la muerte de un hombre de 20 años.
