All Larimer County unaffiliated voters will receive a secrecy sleeve for their ballot package in the upcoming June election.

As we approach the upcoming June 25, 2024 election, unaffiliated voters need to understand what to expect in their mail ballot packets.

In this election cycle, unaffiliated voters will receive a mail ballot with a specially designed secrecy sleeve. The secrecy sleeve will allow a bipartisan team of election judges to confirm that only one party’s ballot was voted and returned while ensuring the vote remains confidential.

“We wanted to emphasize the unaffiliated voter instructions and felt that this was the best way to do so,” said Tina Harris, Larimer County Clerk and Recorder. “Our goal is that the secrecy sleeve will increase the visibility of the unaffiliated voter instructions and allow our unaffiliated voters to confidently and securely participate in the election knowing their votes are private and accurately recorded.”

Unaffiliated voters are reminded to check their packets upon receipt and follow the enclosed instructions carefully. Only one party’s ballot should be completed and returned.  Ballots will be rejected if both ballots are returned.

Larimer County will begin mailing ballots the week of June 3rd for the June 25, 2024 Election. If you do not receive your ballot by June 15, 2024, contact the Larimer County Elections Office at 970-498-7820.

For more information about the mail ballot process or to request assistance, voters are encouraged to contact the Larimer County Elections Office at 970-498-7820 or visit vote.larimer.gov.

The Larimer County Clerk and Recorder’s office is dedicated to facilitating an accessible and transparent election process for every citizen.
