On August 10, 2024, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded McKee Medical Center Emergency Department in Loveland, Colorado, to investigate the death of a 24-year-old male. The decedent reportedly fell off his paddleboard at Carter Lake and became submerged in the water. The decedent is identified as Rupert JORGENSON of Loveland, CO.

A full forensic autopsy was performed on August 12, 2024, at the Larimer County Forensic Sciences Center by Dr. Joe White, D.O.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Drowning
