LOVELAND:  Larimer County Department of Natural Resources (LCDNR) invites the community to join us as we celebrate National Public Lands Day on Saturday, Sept. 28 and throughout the preceding week.

A previously offered Public Lands Day event, the public tour of the new Canyon Edge Open Space on Sept. 26, has reached max capacity, but we are accepting waitlist participants. We will be monitoring participant cancellations as each tour date nears and will be adding waitlist members as space becomes available. Additional tour dates will be announced in early 2025, and waitlist participants will be the first to be notified. With the community’s help, LCDNR has conserved over 57,000 acres of land and manages nearly 100 miles of trails, adding to the high quality of life for which Larimer County is known. We look forward to celebrating these special lands throughout the week.

While all events are free, registration is required at offero.larimer.org/calendar. For more information, please visit larimer.gov/naturalresources.
