Large property data sets are now available online via a new Public Data Center tool from the Larimer County Assessor’s Office.

Researchers, government organizations, real estate professionals, and others looking to study large property data sets collected by the Assessor’s Office can now access and download large property data sets online to a spreadsheet by visiting the Larimer County Assessor Public Data Center.

Larimer County Assessor Bob Overbeck is pleased his office can now offer this new tool to the community to access property data. "Making our bulk data available 24/7 and free to the public, is another opportunity to provide outstanding customer service and greater office transparency,” said Overbeck.

The new system can also be used for free. In the past, customers who requested special data reports processed by assessor staff were charged hourly.

The new data center features eight primary areas: by account; improvements and improvement details [things that are constructed on land]; by land or owner attributes; and from location, sales information, and value detail.

Requests for large property data sets information have been growing, raising the costs of providing the information and increasing staff workloads. The new system now makes the data available quickly to customers.
