Operation King Friday: NCDTF Dismantles Drug Trafficking Organization
Eight people have been arrested for distributing dangerous drugs in Northern Colorado and Wyoming.
In April 2024, the Northern Colorado Drug Task Force (NCDTF) received information about a local drug trafficking organization led by a Johnstown man. Detectives identified Curtis Rogers as a distributor supplying methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone, and Fentanyl across the region. Through the investigation, they learned that Rogers had connections to a multinational drug trafficking organization based in Mexico.
In late 2024, the NCDTF conducted search warrants at multiple Colorado locations associated with Rogers’ operation. The case investigation and search warrants yielded approximately:
- 1,636 grams (3.6 pounds) of methamphetamine
- 537.6 grams (5,300 pills) of Fentanyl
- $13,741 in U.S. currency

These lethal and highly addictive narcotics ruin lives, destroy families, and cause lasting harm. Every pill we get off our streets can mean the difference between life and death.”
