Three new public electric vehicle charging stations have been added at Larimer County facilities, bringing the total number of public chargers accessible to six.

The chargers are part of a larger network of EV chargers in the northern Colorado region.

The three new EV charging stations are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a fee made via credit card to help increase vehicle access to sustainable transportation options.

The new EV chargers are located at:

Carter Lake Administration Center, 1800 S. County Rd. 31, Loveland, CO [Level 2 charger]

Horsetooth Reservoir Information Center, 4200 W. County Rd., 38E Fort Collins, CO [Level 2 charger]

Administrative Services Building, 200 W. Oak St., Fort Collins. [DC Fast Charger]

The two other EV chargers are located at:

Larimer County Fleet Services Campus, Loveland, CO [Level 2 chargers]

Larimer County Loveland Campus, Loveland, CO [Level 2 charger]

More information about charging locations, pricing, and charging opportunities can be found by clicking Electric Vehicles Resources and Information.

The chargers support Larimer County’s commitment to supporting cleaner transportation solutions and promoting cleaner air while reducing greenhouse emissions. They are part of the county’s effort to expand our EV infrastructure and help our community transition to electric vehicles and a component within the 2024 -- 2028 Larimer County Strategic Plan.

All three chargers are part of the Charge Point Network, which is partially funded by a Charge Ahead Colorado grant.
