**FIRST UPDATE** Death Investigation of Two Deceased Individuals in Tunnel – February 3, 2025
On February 3, 2025, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to a death scene in a storm drainage tunnel under College Avenue in Fort Collins, Colorado, to investigate the deaths of two males. Both decedents were positively identified by our office and next-of-kin for one of the individuals was identified and notified. That individual is identified as 56-year-old Aaron COLE of Fort Collins, CO.
As of February 6, 2025, the next-of-kin for the second individual was identified and notified. That individual is identified as 54-year-old Kelly DEMINGS of Fort Collins, CO.
Full forensic autopsies were performed on February 4, 2025, at the Larimer County Forensic Sciences Center by Dr. J. White, D.O.
There is no foul play suspected in this case and the cause and manner of death for both decedents are pending toxicology testing.
No other information will be released by this office at this time.

A partir del 6 de Febrero de 2025 se identificó y notificó a los familiares del segundo individuo. Ese individuo esta identificado como Kelly DEMINGS, de 54 años, de Fort Collins, CO.
El Dr. J. White realizó autopsias forenses completas el 4 de Febrero de 2025 en el Centro de Ciencias Forenses del Condado de Larimer.
No se sospecha ningún acto criminal en este caso y la causa y la manera de muerte de ambos fallecidos están pendientes de las pruebas toxicológicas.
