This year’s report highlights our commitment to community engagement, innovative programs, and measurable impacts that support local residents, businesses, and agriculture. Learn how we’ve fostered growth, built partnerships, and made a difference across Larimer County.
Extension’s mission is to empower people with practical knowledge from Colorado State University and trusted partners. In 2024, we continued to have strong numbers of educational contacts, volunteers, and web hits in support of this mission. In addition, new data shows the impacts of our work: the vast majority of people who participate in our programs intend to change their behavior or improve a practice.
Last year, the Larimer County Extension office surveyed producers (farmers and ranchers) to understand their greatest challenges, 5 year goals, conservation practices, and more. One hundred producers took the survey and the results were created into an accessible report and shared to county commissioners, producers, and local ag organizations.
