Nominations are being accepted for the 45th Annual Conrad Ball Award to recognize an individual or team for their significant improvements to criminal justice in Larimer County.
The award is named after the late honorable 8th Judicial District Judge Conrad L. Ball, who made significant advancements in the criminal justice system. In his honor, each year nominations are accepted to recognize an individual for their significant contributions to the criminal justice system.
The 8th Judicial District Larimer County Competency Docket Team has won the 2022 Fort Collins Human Relations Award in the Organization Category from the City of Fort Collins Human Relations Commission.
The commission has sponsored the awards for over four decades that celebrate individuals and organizations advancing equity and social justice in our community.
Visitation has a start date of November 5th for treatment residents ONLY. Please note that ALL potential visitors will be subject to a background check. For any questions please contact the front desk (970) 498-7512.
Visitation is currently designated for Treatment Residents only. This includes the IRT, STIRT, and WINR Programs. Clients with community access are not permitted to have visitors at this time.
Prospective visitors can apply to visit a current Treatment Resident through our Visitation Application Portal on the Community Corrections website.
Persons with certain outstanding warrants will be able to clear some warrants without being arrested at an upcoming Warrant Clearance opportunity and coinciding Community Resource Fair in mid-September.
Lieutenant Staci Shaffer with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office has been selected as the 44th Judge Conrad L. Ball Award recipient.
With over 27 years of experience in the criminal justice system, she has exhibited a dedication to significantly improving criminal justice in our community.
Shaffer will be recognized for her accomplishments in improving criminal justice and for her innovation, collaboration, and use of data in decision-making.
