Federal Government Shutdown: Update to SNAP Benefits
Nov. 13 Update: Full SNAP benefits for November 2025 are on the way
Coloradans who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to help purchase healthy food will begin receiving full payments for the month of November 2025. The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) will start loading payments onto Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards and SNAP participants will see payments on their EBT cards by Thursday afternoon.

It is important to protect your EBT card against theft. There are several ways you can protect your benefits:
- Freeze your card when not in use
- Keep your PIN and card number secret
- Report suspicious activity
