In Larimer County, we believe that behavioral health is the foundation of a thriving community. Thanks to your support of the 2018 behavioral health sales tax, we are turning every 25 cents of $100 spent into a more resilient future.

To ensure your tax dollars make the greatest impact, Larimer County Behavioral Health Services uses a tiered investment strategy:

  • Short-term: We meet immediate needs through our annual Impact Fund, providing grants to local nonprofits that fill targeted areas and service gaps.
  • Mid-term: We are launching multi-year initiatives starting in 2026, focusing on strengthening our behavioral health workforce and building a consumer access portal to help you find care in Larimer County faster.
  • Long-term: We provide stability through our Acute Care facility at the Longview Campus, offering 24/7 behavioral health crisis support for all ages.

By balancing today’s crisis care with tomorrow’s systemic solutions, we’re building a community where everyone has the support they need to thrive and achieve well-being.
