BHS Grantee Communications Support

Welcome, BHS Impact Fund grantees! We are pleased to make the following communications resources available for your use as a grantee. We encourage you to share the announcement of and ongoing updates about your grant award and your role as a BHS grantee.

To ensure the information our community receives about our department and the Impact Fund Grant is consistent, we ask that you please refer to the following:

When should you check in?

  • If you are producing promotional materials that display our logo
  • Mention BHS in written material for public consumption (online, radio, print, newsletters, social media)
  • Get questions from members of the media about BHS for an article they are publishing
  • Initial check-ins for appropriate usage guidance

Correct ways to refer to our department:

  • Larimer County Behavioral Health Services
  • Behavioral Health Services (BHS)

Correct ways to refer to our grant program:

  • Larimer County Behavioral Health Services Impact Fund Grant Program
  • Larimer County Behavioral Health Services Impact Fund
  • Behavioral Health Services Impact Fund Grant Program
  • Behavioral Health Services Impact Fund

Our department manages the following social media accounts:

Any time you share information about your grant-funded work, tag us! We'd love to share the content as part of our greater effort to tell the collective impact of our work together.

As a visible part of Larimer County’s behavioral health system, the department fields requests to use its position in the community to amplify information from grantees and other partners. Our team cannot feasibly say “yes” to everyone. By doing so, our channels would become a cluttered bulletin board, and we would run the risk of our audience tuning out. These content-sharing guidelines are designed to complement the department’s communications strategy plan, as well as the overall BHS 2026-2030 Strategic Plan.

1. The BHS Website

  • We will create a standing web page on the BHS site for “Larimer County Mental Health Events.”
  • We will update it by the first Friday of each month.
  • Content will be submitted using a Google form (see below).
  • We will link to the web page in the Lamplighter newsletter.

2. Facebook & Instagram

  • Rule: We will not share other organizations’ content on our social platforms. BHS reserves the right to share content related to approved sponsorships.
  • If we say “yes” to one, we say yes to all.
  • BHS does actively monitor and engage with other organizations’ content that they post on social media.

3. Email Distribution
