SCOPE OF WORK
The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is working with the Town of Wellington and Larimer County to make improvements to Highway1 where it intersects with both CR 9 and CR 62E.
PURPOSE
This project is planned due to major growth, including a new middle school/high school, in the area that is anticipated to cause a significant increase in traffic.
BUDGET
$3,410,000
PROJECT STATUS
The project is in the final design phase and work is underway to acquire right-of-way. The anticipated advertisement date for bids is November, 2026 with construction planned for the spring of 2027. CDOT is managing this project.
