SCOPE OF WORK
Replacement 2-span rubble arch culvert. Improvements include:
- widen/lengthen bridge
- creek channel grading and bank stabilization
- 6 foot paved shoulder/bicycle lanes
- curb/gutter/sidewalks
PURPOSE
This project is planned due to:
- capacity improvements
- safety improvements
BUDGET
$350,000 (design)
PROJECT STATUS
- construction contract awarded to Structures, Inc.
- construction and Monroe Avenue CLOSURE began December 1, 2025
- concrete bridge deck has been poured
- work continues on concrete curb and sidewalk as well as grading for roadway
- construction expected to be complete June 2026
