Housing Action Plan Open House
The Office of Housing Stability invites residents, workers, and community members to attend an informational Open House to discuss the draft Housing Action Plan (HAP) on Monday, November 30th, 5:00-6:30pm.
In person:
Larimer County Administrative Services Building
Boyd Lake Conference Room
200 W. Oak Street
Fort Collins, CO 80521
What is the Housing Action Plan?
The draft HAP outlines actionable, collaborative strategies to address local housing affordability, expand housing choices, preserve existing inventory, and support long-term residential stability. Developed to meet local priorities and the requirements of Colorado Senate Bill 24-174, the plan aligns with coordinated efforts across jurisdictions while establishing specific county-level initiatives.
How to get involved?
The Housing Action Plan has not yet been adopted, and no final decisions have been made. Your input is vital as the Board of County Commissioners reviews comments from the community to evaluate and refine the plan before formal consideration.
Residents are invited to review the draft plan and share feedback during the 30-day public comment window, open from November 4 through December 4. Read the draft Housing Action Plan, review regional assessment data, and submit comments and feedback through the 30-day public comment portal at https://publicinput.com/b05058.
Drop in to review the strategies, ask questions, and share your perspective on the future of housing in our community.
