Young Entrepreneur Tournament: Pre-Tournament Orientation & Ideation Session

Interested in turning an idea into a real business? The Young Entrepreneur Tournament (YET) invites youth ages 12–18 to join a free pre-tournament orientation and ideation session. This is a great first step if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to start your own business. During this session you will:

  • Learn how the Tournament works and what to expect from the full program.

  • Brainstorm and begin shaping a business idea; no experience required and no idea is too small.

  • Receive support in starting a business plan and guidance from experienced local entrepreneurs.

  • Get a head start before formal training, mentoring, and pitch sessions begin.

When and where: Tuesday, February 3, 2026, 6:00–8:00 PM at 200 W. Oak Street, Fort Collins. Pizza will be provided. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend with young people.

Important: Please complete the YET application before attending the orientation session. Attendance is open only to applicants.

This orientation is a perfect entry point whether you’re already excited about entrepreneurship or just curious about exploring ideas and building real-world skills.
