The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment (LCDHE) hires Larimer County youth between the ages of 16-18 (*need to be 16 at the time of hire) for the position(s) of Youth Engagement Specialist.
The $17.00/hr. position is a 12 month commitment at 5 hours per week. Applicants must be a high school student for the upcoming school year to be considered and must reside in the boundaries of the school district in which they are applying. The work will be a combination of in-person and remote.
LCDHE is hiring for 4 positions: Two positions in Fort Collins, one position in Loveland, and one position in Estes Park.
The focus of the work includes, but is not limited to:
- Outreach to local youth
- Developing social media and print materials
- Providing perspective to inform health outreach & education activities
- Serving on community-wide coalitions
- Facilitating youth-led coalitions
