Belafonte Farm has been in business for three years selling over forty types and over a hundred varieties of vegetables annually to the Fort Collins community through Famers markets, restaurants and through food hubs. We focus on farming practices that are good for the soil and the food. The farm occupies two locations amounting to 3 acres under management. Belafonte Farm is part of the Northern Colorado Foodshed Projects' farm business accelerator program.
We are looking to sell directly to the end consumers and to local food operations to reduce food miles and know our community. Help us find more ways to support our local community with incredible, fresh food!
Hazel Dell Mushrooms is a family‑run gourmet mushroom farm in Fort Collins, growing a variety of certified organic exotic mushrooms like shiitake, lion’s mane, oyster, cremini, and royal trumpet, all picked by hand and delivered fresh to restaurants and food businesses across the Front Range. They offer fresh and dried mushrooms, mushroom powders, and direct delivery to chefs looking to elevate their menus with local flavor.
Started in 2020, St. Michael’s Farm is a bee and berry farm specializing in Elderberries and honey bees. Michael, was a beekeeper for over 20 years and Christine an avid gardener. Between their love of taking care of the land and each other they started the farm.
St. Michael’s currently makes an elderberry syrup which is a huge success in the area of immune support. Secondly, they produce infused honeyed in 9 different flavors. We treat the honey like wine. In the huge honey vats, dried material is dropped in and after Mother Nature has done her work, it comes out to markets. The product is completely natural with no additives. The flavors are broken down into: sweet, savory and hot.
Finally, we have the “ Squeeze Me Honey” pouches. The recyclable and resealable pouches were designed in response to, "we love your honey but we can’t take it with us”. Our honey is now a grab and go with no mess.
