Youth Engagement Specialists

The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment hires Larimer County youth between the ages of 16-18 for the position(s) of Youth Engagement Specialist.

This paid position is a 6-12 month commitment at 10 hours per week. Applicants must be a high school student for the upcoming school year to be considered and must reside in the boundaries of the school district in which they are applying. The work will be a combination of in-person and remote.

The focus of the work includes, but is not limited to:

  • Outreach to local youth
  • Developing social media and print materials
  • Providing perspective to inform health outreach and education activities
  • Serving on community-wide coalitions
  • Facilitating youth-led coalitions
