Molly Landry, Income Maintenance Technician, was praised by a client via voicemail of the Department of Human Services

“I was just helped by a wonderful woman named Molly, and I just wanted to call and sing her praises.  I know a lot of people don’t like dealing with this entrance (application) process, which can be really stressful.  She was so kind and so helpful...she was really easy to understand.  I am just out of the house and into college and so navigating this world is a scary process, and she was so, so great, and I wanted to let someone know she is awesome, and that is it!”

"I saw this comment about Molly Landry from another social services client, and I would like to echo it too.

I saw Molly yesterday and she helped me untangle a big mess with my EBT which had been terminated due to a recertification letter that I had never received.

Molly was kind and gracious and extremely helpful as she updated a lot of information in your system that had been incorrect.

She made the whole process easy and I am so grateful for her excellent assistance.

Please wish her a very happy joyous and blessed Christmas Season!"

Thank You to Todd Blomstrom and Stephen Gillette from a Community Member

I just wanted to thank you for your great presentation last night and express my gratitude for the expertise that folks like you and [Stephen Gillette] bring to our county. I also want to apologize on behalf of some of my fellow citizens in attendance last evening, who without any effort to educate themselves or learn about the process, simply assume that everything we do at the county is somehow dishonest and leaves them disenfranchised. My experience at the county is just the opposite and has reminded me that we all enjoy the most open, accessible and fair system of government in the world and that Larimer County accentuates those benefits for its citizens as much as any other local government I’ve been involved with.

Thank You Email Sent from Community Member to the Human Services Department General Email on Dec. 3, 2018

"I just wanted to put out a good word for Joanne Murphy who helped me thru questions that were hard to figure out on my own. Her kindness and patience and professionalism were must appreciated in a process that can often be quite unfun! I hope this comment counts for something in her future."

The Human Services Department received this email from a client regarding Kris Swecker and Tatiana Moon, Senior Income Maintenance Technicians

"I am Overwhelmed with Gratitude. Being disabled with **********, and [relying solely on email] to communicate makes Understanding, Filling Out, and Submitting forms and documents (and any questions I have about them) Really difficult and stressful for me. Your willingness to respond to me over email...Your patience with All my questions...Your Quick and effective work on my case...Your kindness and compassion given to me.... Have made it Possible For Me to complete and submit these forms and documents over the past month. I Honestly could NOT have accomplished this without your help. Thank you--GINORMOUSLY!!"

Kelly Morrison, Benefits and Community Services Deputy Division Manager, received the following phone call from a client regarding Angela Korthaus, Long Term Care Manager

"Angela is a wonderful reflection of your policy because she is such a hard-working young lady." Angela told the client she would take care of things as soon as possible, and she did. The client could not believe that things had gotten off to such a good start in their new county due to Angela’s industry.
