Officer Involved Shooting – July 15, 2026
On July 15, 2026, the Larimer County Coroner’s Office responded to a home in the 3300 block of Banyan Avenue in Loveland, Colorado, to investigate the death of a 49-year-old male. The decedent was pronounced dead at the scene after exchanging gunfire with Loveland Police Officers. The decedent is identified as Brant Peter VALVO of Loveland, Colorado.
A full forensic autopsy was performed on July 16, 2026, at the Larimer County Forensic Sciences Center by Dr. J. White, D.O.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds
The CIRT (Critical Incident Response Team) was activated, and the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is the lead investigating agency for this case.
